About Us

We are West Tennessee’s solid waste leader. Barker Brothers Waste, Inc, is the largest provider of Solid Waste Services to small and medium size cities and counties west of Nashville. Managed by Bryan Barker, the company is a subsidiary of republic Services, Inc, which provides solid waste services in several other states. It is entirely operated by local managers including one of the sons of the founders of the Company.

Today, we serve customers throughout a 13-county area from our main office and maintenance facility in Union City and its transfer stations near McKenzie in Carroll County and Covington, TN in Tipton County. The company provides residential, commercial, industrial and municipal waste management services throughout a 13-county area of Northwest Tennessee.

A fleet of 42 vehicles and 103 employees collect waste from homes, businesses and large industrial complexes. In addition, we provide disposal service to our regular customers and others through our affiliate landfill, Northwest Tennessee Disposal Corp.
